FIVE ARCHES 90 v  ST. ISSELL’S 59

The Arches made the short journey to Saundersfoot on Wednesday, June 19, to play against the St. Issell’s team in their second group game of this season’s Brains Cup. The Arches were hoping for a good win to maintain their challenge in the competition, after their disappointing team performance the week before against Pater when they lost on their own green. Anything other than a good win would see their hopes of reaching this year’s final evaporate. The Arches team responded to the challenge with a fine performance, winning the game by 31 shots to pick-up the points and set up a showdown with the Borderers of Whitland, with the winners booking a place in the final.
