The Arches, playing their first group game in this season’s Brains Knockout Cup competition, entertained the Pater team from Pembroke Dock. After beating Pater at the Dock in their first league game of the season, the Arches were hoping for a repeat performance. How wrong they were. The Pater team, much stronger than the one which played in the league game, were in determined mood and out for revenge and they certainly delivered the goods for captain Steve James, running out overall winners by nine shots - a well deserved win for Pater, as on the night they were the better side.

The Arches should have played away to St. Thomas, Haverfordwest, in the league last Sunday, but this game fell victim to the weather will now be played at a later date! Next game is Borderers (away) Thursday, June 25, 6 pm.
