It was important for Tenby ladies to get back to winning ways against Neyland ladies following their last game defeat against Whitland. With the previous day’s game postponed due to heavy rain the ladies took to the green last Wednesday in near perfect conditions. Julia’s rink of Liz, Ginnie and Gerry were always in control with Liz, back from her short break in good form at lead With one count of five and three threes. Julia’s rink won by 29 shots to 14 and winning 15 of the 21 ends in the process. Alison’s rink of Audrey, Carol and Helen had a much tougher game on their hands. Neyland ladies had a one-shot advantage, with the lead having changed hands several times up to this point. The 17th end turned the game in Tenby’s favour picking up six shots with everyone contributing. The Arches ladies were now in the lead and held on to win by 20 shots to 17. This was a good performance by the Arches ladles winning overall by 49 shots to 31.
