On Saturday, the Tenby team travelled to play Loughor in the second knockout round of the Carruthers Shield, and what a nail-biter it proved to be, going down to the very last wood before the visitors squeezed through by a single shot, 76-75. They now go on to meet competition favourites and old adversaries RTB Ebbw Vale in the next round at home on July 23. Tenby accounted for RTB in a thrilling semi-final clash at Llandod last year and will be hoping to dash their visitors’ hopes again this year
